PMT REPAIR SERVICE
Return Procedure: Most controllers that we service contain multiple circuit boards. Our repair prices are based on each individual circuit board assembly (see list below). Once you have identified which circuit board assembly is defective, remove it and ship it to us for repair. The entire control unit may be returned for service if you can’t identify the faulty circuit board. The faceplate control assembly should be returned as a whole, with the faceplate and knobs attached.
The main, slave or rear circuit board assemblies may be returned with or without the case. Sometimes it is easier to remove the circuit board from the case than it is to remove the entire case from the wall.
Pack the defective unit securely and ship it to the address listed on the Repair Service Authorization form. Repairs may be shipped to PMT by UPS, FedEx, USPS or any other carrier of your liking. $300 insurance on each returned assembly is highly recommended. Most repairs can be completed within 10 working days.

Not All Boards Are Repairable: The reparability of most circuit board assemblies is limited by parts availability and severity of damage. Some components on older boards are no longer in production and substitute parts are not available. Boards that have been struck by lightning or have experienced severe power surges may not be repairable, although many can be restored. Exposure to moisture and insects causes corrosion of circuit boards which may cause irreversible damage.
In the event your assembly is not repairable, you will be notified by email or telephone. You have the option of having the faulty assembly returned for a $50 fee or we will simply discard the assembly for you at no cost and your initial payment will be refunded.
